Award-Winning Sudden Cardiac Arrest Training Created by Day One

Here we look at how Day One Technologies in West Yorkshire created an award-winning elearning project for UK Coaching to deliver Sudden Cardiac Arrest training to sports participants, coaches and spectators nationwide and beyond.

Sudden Cardiac Arrest Training

Funded by Sport England, the multimedia training content guides learners in the use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) and in how to perform CPR.

The material was developed in association with Resuscitation Council UK, St John Ambulance and Joe Humphries Memorial Trust.

This successful project had helped over 30,000 within just 3 months of its launch and is likely to save many lives over the months and years to come.

It won the prestigious Digital Learning and eLearning Award at the Learning Excellence Awards 2022, which were held at the National Conference Centre in Solihull.

Learning Excellence Awards 2022

UK Coaching and Sport England wanted to deliver a free course to all of their sports coaches and the general public so that if they found themselves in a situation where someone has a sudden cardiac arrest (SCA), they are well prepared to save a life.

The client wanted a course that was media rich, engaging and thought-provoking, and that would leave an impact on the learner so that they remember what to do in an SCA emergency.

No doubt this important elearning course will save a great many lives.
